Description

The Pyrenex Chinook XP Mountain Jacket is a padded jacket for men designed for mountaineering. It is composed of a first insulation layer against the outside cold with an 18 cm tube fabric and an extremely insulating natural down filling, and a second insulation layer made possible by a 4 cm tube fabric lining filled with Legend Pyrenex down. This product has been tested in real conditions by several French athletes. This model is sold with a storage bag and a compression bag.

A water-repellent treatment is applied to the outer fabric making water drops roll off and preventing them from soaking into the material. Water-repellent textiles are not designed to withstand immersion or sustained long rainfall exposures.

Breathable
Breathable

We calculate the amount of water (in the form of vapour) that the fabric lets through in 24 hours. The higher the degree, the more breathable the fabric. At 5,000g/m2/24hrs, the garment is considered to be breathable.

Composition & care
  • 30° machine wash
  • Tumble dry at low temperature.Down products: tumble dry with 2 drying balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, tap the balls of down by hand to separate them.
  • No bleaching
  • Ironing at a maximum temperature of 110°C
  • No dry cleaning

FABRIC :
