Pyrenex know-how approved by the EPV label

Pyrenex is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Label “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV or literally “Living Heritage Compagny”) by the French Ministry of Economy and Finance in June 2020. This distinction recognises the excellence of our French know-how and rewards the work of all our employees and collaborators who contribute day after day to the dynamics of Pyrenex.

The EPV label: a real distinction promoting French know-how

The label “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (EPV) is a State recognition mark, set up to distinguish French companies that possess, among other things, excellent industrial and artisanal know-how.

Awarded for a period of five years, awarded companies maintain their production activity in France, in sectors with high added value. Most of them are present on international markets and thus export emblematic French know-how. They are representative of the “Made in France” spirit and know-how and forge the French economic and cultural identity.

Until 2025, the Pyrenex brand will take advantage of this label to shine in France and abroad.

Pyrenex: 160 years of French know-how

Internationally renowned for its French know-how, which can be traced back to its creation in 1859, the Pyrenex factory has been beautifying duck and goose feathers and down with the same passion and the same exacting standards for over 160 years.

This unique know-how has made it possible to manufacture "made in France" bedding items as well as designing unique technical clothing garments (down jackets, protective parkas, windbreakers…). This expertise and its linked ancestral gestures have been passed down from generation to generation by those who have been working at the Manufacture in Saint Sever since 1859.
