Questions fréquentes

What is a down mattress topper for?

It is placed on the mattress to alter its surface comfort without changing your bedding. The Écrin Luxury mattress topper, 4 cm thick and made with 50% down and 50% feathers, softens a mattress that is too firm. Its box quilting keeps the filling evenly distributed, even when two people sleep on it.

Which Pyrenex mattress topper should you choose?

It depends on the comfort you want. The 8 cm Écrin Impérial, secured with elastic straps, layers a 90% down comfort chamber over a 90% feather support chamber: soft on the surface, firm underneath. The Écrin Superior and Écrin Dorsal, at 4 cm thick and with 1,650 g/m² of feathers, offer firm comfort. The Écrin Prestige, with 90% down, prioritises softness.

Are Pyrenex mattress toppers made in France?

Yes. Écrin mattress toppers are made in France, filled with duck down and feathers, in a 91-thread/cm² cotton percale cover. The Écrin Impérial also benefits from the anti-dust-mite Greenfirst treatment, whose active substance is geraniol. Depending on the model, they are available from 80 x 200 cm to 200 x 200 cm.
