The expertise of the Pyrenex factory in St-Sever ensures consistent quality and perfect hygiene thanks to ongoing technological development. From washing to sorting to processing, each stage of the transformation process is rigorously executed to ensure that Pyrenex remains the international benchmark for feather and down excellence.

The Upcycling

Pyrenex's mission is to recycle and add value to a by-product of the local agricultural sector, feathers, which some consider to be waste, and turn it into a noble material. This raw material, essential in our quest for excellence, is down from the Pyrenees, gathered from the finest farms in south-west France. In this way, we encourage local employment and the development of various regional skills, including those of our French designers and workers, thereby promoting a circular economy.

Essential in this quest for excellence, the base material is Pyrenean duck down, selected from the finest supplies in south-west France. A revolutionary process, characterised by rigour, gentleness and slow manufacturing methods, has resulted in the ‘fleur du duvet’, which offers unprecedented insulation and lightness. Promised to be used in the most beautiful down jackets in the High Mountains or in the luxury sector, this exceptional down is now available in the most prestigious Pyrenex duvets and pillows, offering ‘sublimated’ comfort and lightness.
