Not all duvets are equal in quality and warmth. Indeed, depending on the materials used and their density, the result will not be the same. Duvets are often divided into two categories: summer duvets, which are rather lightweight, and winter duvets, which are warmer. Summer duvets have a weight ranging from 80 to 150 g/m². That is to say, 80 to 150 grams of goose or duck down per square metre of duvet. Warm duvets contain at least 200 g/m². At Pyrenex, they can have a weight of up to 250 or 270 g/m² for the warmest ones. This guarantees you a winter spent in comfort and warmth. Between the two types are all-season duvets, whose intermediate weight allows them to be warm enough in winter for those who do not feel the cold easily, and breathable enough in the warmer season when temperatures rise.
