Two Pyrenex ambassadors conquering international trails

Arthur Joyeux Bouillon

A Pyrenex ambassador for over 4 years, Arthur Joyeux Bouillon grew up practising alpine skiing, ski mountaineering and cycling. Having fallen in love with trail running a few years ago, he has steadily climbed the ranks, finishing 3rd at the TDS in 2021 and 7th at the UTMB in 2022.

What is the UTMB 2023?

The Ultra Trail du Mont-White is one of the greatest trail running events in the world. The must-attend event for running enthusiasts. The trail covers Mont Blanc over 170 km and 10,000 m of elevation gain, pushing runners to surpass themselves over the course of a week through the magnificent landscapes of France, Italy and Switzerland.

The latest record was broken recently at just 29 years of age, finishing 2nd at the Ultra Trail d'Istria. In total, he covered 168 km in a record time of 18h46! Despite a tough course, particularly towards the end, and some muscular complications, Arthur nonetheless succeeded in this new challenge he had set himself. By achieving both goals he had in mind — testing his limits and qualifying for the UTMB 2023 — he can now consider himself fulfilled.

Some of Arthur's greatest achievements: - Trail White de la Rosière 10km: 1st - Roc Noir ski mountaineering ascent: 2nd - Pierre Menta Hiver: Top 30 - MIUT Ultra Trail 117km: 12th - Maratrail Raidlight Festival 42km: 1st - Circuit de la Sûre 65km: 3rd - Grand Duc de Chartreuse_àkm: 1st - Trail de La Rosière: 1st - Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) 170km: 7th - Trail des Glières 42km: 2nd - World Trail Championship 80km: 1st with the French team

Jérôme Mirassou

A passionate runner, from ultra trail to road races over 100 km and 24h, Jérôme Mirassou is also one of our Pyrenex ambassadors. Driven by a spirit of curiosity, after several years competing in ultra-trail and 100km races, the Béarnais Jérôme Mirassou has now turned his attention to endurance road races and took part in the French 24h Championships in Albi. He finished 2nd overall and 1st master! His initial goal has been achieved, as he will now compete in the World 24h Championships in Taiwan next December.

Here are some of Jérôme Mirassou's greatest achievements: - French 100km Championship: 3rd overall, French Masters Champion in 7h08 - World 100km Championship: silver medal with the French team in 6h55 - Euskal Trail: Stage winner - Pyrénéa Triathlon: 2nd overall

As supporters of our ambassadors, we wish them every success in achieving their future goals and always moving forward!
