Which bolster should you choose?

The choice of a bolster depends above all on your sleeping habits and comfort preferences. More than a simple bedding accessory, it can be used alone or alongside a pillow to provide extra support for the head, neck or back. It is particularly appreciated by side sleepers, as well as for resting comfortably against when relaxing in bed.

What length bolster should you choose?

A length close to the width of the bed. The Val Cenis bolster is available from 70 to 120 cm for single beds; the Modulo from 140 to 180 cm for double beds. Both are made in France and filled with duck down and feathers.

What is the difference between the Val Cenis and Modulo bolsters?

The filling, and therefore the support. The Val Cenis contains 80% feathers and 20% down: it is firmer and retains its shape. The Modulo, with equal parts down and feathers, is softer and comes in soft, firm or flat versions. Both are also available in a Santé version, with Greenfirst anti-dust-mite treatment.

Which bolster is suitable for sleeping on your back or side?

The soft Modulo, designed for back or side sleepers, with an equal blend of down and feathers. For firmer support, the Val Cenis, with 80% feathers, holds its shape better. Side sleepers can also use the Bréhat body pillow as a bolster.
