Description

The ultra-enveloping velvet down jacket "The Big Puffer" is the result of an exclusive collaboration with the French artist Supakitch. Generously filled with natural down upcycled in France in our Saint-Sever factory, this down jacket offers exceptional insulation with its windproof, breathable and highly water-repellent fabric.

With an eclectic artistic background, Supakitch has developed a unique style that stands out through the use of raw materials, bringing new textures and depth to his creations. Known for his collaborations in the worlds of fashion and design, SupaKitch has found in Pyrenex a new source of inspiration, particularly thanks to the brand's commitment to upcycling.

Designed to face the “extreme cold”, this down jacket displays a contemporary urban aesthetic, reflecting the artist’s desire to combine functionality and art.

Features a technical fabric (‘softshell’) that insulates against the wind. Ideal when it's cool or windy.

Breathable
Breathable

We calculate the amount of water (in the form of vapour) that the fabric lets through in 24 hours. The higher the degree, the more breathable the fabric. At 5,000g/m2/24hrs, the garment is considered to be breathable.

Highly water-repellent
Highly water-repellent

We measure in millimetres the pressure required for the material to begin to allow water to penetrate. A garment is considered to be highly water-repellent from 3,000 mm Schmerber. A sweet protection for small rains.

Fit & sizing

• The male model is 1m89 tall and wears size L.

• The Big Puffer down jacket has a regular fit.

Composition & care
  • 30° machine wash
  • Tumble dry at low temperature.Down products: tumble dry with 2 drying balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, tap the balls of down by hand to separate them.
  • Ironing at a maximum temperature of 110°C
  • No bleaching
  • No dry cleaning

FABRIC :

FILLING:

  • French duck down (90% down / 10% feathers)
