The Pyrenea summer wool duvet is the result of a collaboration between French companies Pyrenex and Traille. Together, they have created a high-end duvet made from local wool, manufactured in France in the workshops of the Saint-Sever factory. The filling is made from wool supplied by Traille, a company committed to promoting French wool and local expertise.

This collaboration embodies a clear alliance between comfort, ecological commitment and short supply chains. Guaranteed 100% natural, wool from the Pyrenees, sourced from Basque and Béarn sheep, is distinguished by its exceptional qualities:

Maintenance

To ensure that a PYRENEX bedding product retains all its properties and softness, the brand makes the following recommendations:

  • For optimal use of your product, we recommend removing it from its packaging at least 24 hours before first use so that it can regain its full loft.
  • Shake it daily so that the filling remains well distributed.
  • Reverse the top and bottom of the duvet every 15 days.
  • On sunny days, spread it between two chairs or by the window for a few hours to air it as often as possible and at least three times a year (avoid hanging it on a clothesline).
  • Wash and dry it in the machine according to the care instructions provided or entrust it to a professional.
  • Wash your duvet and pillow 1 to 2 times a year.

Washing

A duvet placed in a "duvet cover" does not require frequent washing. If an accidental stain necessitates washing it, it is essential to follow the washing instructions and, preferably, avoid washing it more than once a year. If done correctly, this annual wash will restore its lightness and loft.

In general, always refer to the product label.

  • Pillows: machine washable in a 5 kg drum.
  • Duvets: in a laundromat with a 15 kg drum machine.
  • Regarding detergent: we recommend using a liquid detergent, respecting the dosage. Liquid detergent is more soluble and will rinse much better. All our natural duvets come with one dose of soap for 1 wash.
  • 5 or 6 rinses are necessary.

Drying

Machine drying, gentle and durable, synthetic or delicate program. Minimum 4 hours. It is important that your duvet or pillow is completely dry to prevent any mold development afterward.

Important

To restore loft to your duvet and pillow, when drying, it is imperative to put 2 to 3 dryer balls in the dryer drum.
