Down jackets and mid-season jackets
What type of jacket should you choose for the mid-season? When thick down jackets become too warm or the weather doesn't yet allow you to go out without a coat, mid-season jackets are an ideal solution for protecting yourself from the elements and the unpredictability of the mid-season, in spring as well as in autumn.
The Pyrenex range offers different types of products to meet most of your needs. Whether you are in the city or in the mountains, our ultra-lightweight, slim and packable down jackets are perfect as a first layer under your favourite coat, as well as worn alone when temperatures rise. Sleeveless down jackets complete this range. Paired with a chunky jumper, they are perfectly suited to decidedly cold temperatures and remain ideal in milder conditions.
To face the wind and light rain, our windbreakers and hybrid jackets offer lightness, insulation against the wind and breathability during your summer activities.
This range of down jackets and mid-season jackets is available for men, women and children aged 8 to 16. The bold or understated colours of this collection will appeal to all styles: sporty, casual or rather chic — these mid-season jackets are made for you!

In which season should you wear a lightweight down jacket?
In spring and autumn, or as a layer under a coat in the depths of winter. The Sunray, Guzet and Arial are rated for -5 °C to +10 °C. For colder conditions, choose a down jacket rated for cold or extreme cold on its product page.
Is a lightweight down jacket made with real down?
Yes. Pyrenex lightweight down jackets are filled with French duck down, like the rest of the range. They contain less of it, in narrower baffles, and use exceptionally lofty, lightweight down: the Arial, Sunray and Guzet have 850-fill-power down, the highest rating in the range.
Is a lightweight down jacket easy to pack away?
Yes, most Pyrenex lightweight down jackets are packable. The Sunray, Guzet and Arial fold into their storage bags, making them handy for travel or carrying in a rucksack. Each product page states whether the jacket is compressible. Once taken out of the bag, the down regains its loft.
