Sleeveless down jackets
Questions fréquentes

Does a sleeveless down jacket really keep you warm?

Yes, it keeps your torso warm while leaving your arms free. The John, for example, is filled with 750-fill-power down and has an indicated temperature range of -5 °C to +10 °C. It’s a piece for between seasons or for layering under a coat, not protection against extreme cold, when a down jacket with sleeves is still needed. Paired with a thick wool jumper, though, it’s very effective!

Are there sleeveless down jackets with hoods?

Yes. The men’s and women’s Spoutnic comes in a sleeveless version with a removable hood, which can be detached when it isn’t needed. Other styles, such as the John, have no hood (except in the children’s version). Each product page states whether it has a fixed hood, a removable hood or no hood.

How do you wear a sleeveless down jacket?

Wear it as a mid-layer or on its own. Under a coat, a slim style such as the Guzet, Handy, Orite or Elgor adds warmth without bulk. On its own, a more generously filled sleeveless style such as the John can be worn over a jumper or shirt between seasons. Packable styles fit into their bags for travel.
