Recognised the world over for its ancestral expertise, the Pyrenex Manufactory has been refining goose and duck feathers and down for more than 160 years with the same passion and exacting standards. Today, Pyrenex is innovating in the production of this exceptional material: the manufactory has stopped the clock and the race for yield, and has asked its finest craftspeople to focus their expertise and technology on the pursuit of an exceptionally pure down.

Quality and comfort

Our natural filling

The expertise of the Pyrenex manufactory in St-Sever ensures consistent quality and perfect hygiene through continuous technological development. From washing to processing, through sorting, every stage of the transformation is rigorously carried out so that Pyrenex remains the international benchmark for premium feathers and down.

Upcycling

Pyrenex's craft consists in recycling and adding value to a by-product of local agricultural supply chains that some consider a waste material — the feather — to transform it into a noble material. This raw material, essential to our pursuit of excellence, is Pyrenean down, harvested from the finest farms in South-West France. In doing so, we support local employment and the promotion of diverse regional expertise, including that of our French designers and craftspeople, thereby fostering a circular economy.

An exceptional down

Essential to this pursuit of excellence, the base material is Pyrenean duck down, selected from the finest sources in South-West France. A revolutionary process, imbued with rigour, gentleness and artisanal slowness, now makes it possible to obtain the "flower of down" with insulation and lightness performance never before achieved. Destined for the finest high-mountain or luxury down jackets, this exceptional down is now offered in the most prestigious Pyrenex duvets and pillows, providing a "sublimated" comfort and lightness.
