Description
A true icon of the Pyrenex collections, the blue Vintage Mythic down jacket accompanies children and teenagers winter after winter thanks to its timeless style and thermal performance. Its distinctive design combines a shiny taffeta fabric with matte shoulders and a relaxed cut that suits both girls and boys. Available from age 8 to 16, this unisex down jacket has become an essential in the winter wardrobe.
Its filling of natural French down, combined with a fill power of 600 cuin, delivers effective thermal insulation while remaining exceptionally lightweight. The high collar, elasticated cuffs and fitted hem efficiently limit cold air ingress, ensuring consistent warmth and optimal comfort throughout the day.
Designed to keep up with the youngest adventurers, the Vintage Mythic is crafted from a water-repellent and breathable fabric that protects against light rain while promoting moisture evacuation. Use of a technical fabric ("softshell") that provides wind insulation. Ideal when it is cool or when the wind chill effect makes us cold.
Water-repellent treatment on the outer fabric that causes water droplets to bead off, preventing them from soaking into the material. A water-repellent treated textile is not designed to withstand immersion or prolonged heavy rain.
We measure the quantity of water (in vapour form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the more breathable the fabric. From 5,000 g/m²/24h, a garment is considered breathable.
Composition & care
Washing: 30° machine wash
Low-temperature machine drying. Down products: tumble dry with 2 dryer balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, gently fluff the down clusters by hand to separate them.
Ironing at a maximum temperature of 110°C
Do not bleach
Do not dry clean
