Description

With its matte taffeta fabric and its generous cut, the Shift down jacket is an understated, comfortable and warm piece: a terribly effective winter staple. The large vintage badge on the side adds a retro touch to this unisex quilted jacket. Filled with upcycled French natural down with unrivalled insulating power and crafted with a 100% French water-repellent, windproof fabric, the Shift down jacket stays true to the winter tradition of Pyrenex.

Use of a technical fabric ("softshell") that provides wind insulation. Ideal when it is cool or when the wind chill effect makes us cold.

Water-repellent
Water-repellent

Water-repellent treatment on the outer fabric that causes water droplets to bead off, preventing them from soaking into the material. A water-repellent treated textile is not designed to withstand immersion or prolonged heavy rain.

Breathable
Breathable

We measure the quantity of water (in vapour form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the more breathable the fabric. From 5,000 g/m²/24h, a garment is considered breathable.

Size & fit

• The female model is 1.76 m tall and wears size L.

• The male model is 1.84 m tall and wears size L.

• The Shift down jacket has a loose / relaxed fit, to be worn one size up for an oversized look

Composition & care
  • Washing: 30° machine wash
  • Low-temperature machine drying. Down products: tumble dry with 2 dryer balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, gently fluff the down clusters by hand to separate them.
  • Ironing at a maximum temperature of 110°C
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not dry clean

FABRIC:

FILLING:

• Aquitaine duck down (90% down / 10% small feathers)

• Fill power (FP) 750 cui/lb IDFB standards
