Description

The Kepler black winter down jacket combines the warmth of French natural down with the protection of a highly waterproof technical fabric. Its resistant mini ripstop fabric, paired with a high-performance waterproof membrane, makes it a piece built for extreme cold and wet conditions. An enveloping hood, elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem ensure optimal protection against the elements. A warm and robust down jacket, designed without PFAS treatment.

We measure, in millimetres, the pressure required for water to pass through the material. A garment is considered waterproof from 3,000 mm Schmerber. Models with seam-sealed tape offer perfect waterproofing.

Use of a technical fabric ("softshell") that provides wind insulation. Ideal when it is cool or when the wind chill effect makes us cold.

Breathable
Breathable

We measure the quantity of water (in vapour form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the more breathable the fabric. From 5,000 g/m²/24h, a garment is considered breathable.

Composition & care
  • Washing: 30° machine wash
  • Low-temperature machine drying. Down products: tumble dry with 2 dryer balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, gently fluff the down clusters by hand to separate them.
  • Ironing at a maximum temperature of 110°C
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not dry clean
