Description

The Papeete Duo 240 Greenfirst® 4-season duvet set builds on the ingenious concept of Pyrenex’s joinable duvets. Thanks to their discreet press studs, the two duvets can be used separately or joined together in just a few simple steps to create a warmer duvet, perfectly suited to mid-season and winter nights.

This set comprises two Papeete Summer duvets with a weight of 120 g/m². Their filling, consisting of 90% down and 10% French white duck feathers, offers an ideal balance between warmth, lightness and breathability. Used individually, they provide optimal comfort during summer nights, whilst when joined together, they become a four-season solution capable of adapting to temperature fluctuations throughout the year.

Their high-quality cotton percale cover provides softness and freshness, and promotes the natural breathability of the down for lasting comfort. This set also benefits from the natural Greenfirst® anti-mite treatment, whose active ingredient is geraniol. Effective and long-lasting, this treatment retains its properties even after several domestic washes at 30 °C, ensuring healthier nights’ sleep and lasting comfort over time. Available in several sizes, the Papeete Duo 240 set is suitable for both single beds and large double beds.

Care

To ensure that a PYRENEX bedding product retains all its properties and softness, the brand makes the following recommendations:

  • For optimum use of your product, we recommend that you take it out of its packagingat least 24 hours before using it for the first time so that it regains all its fluffiness.
  • Give it a daily shake to ensure that the filling remains evenly distributed
  • Invert the top and bottom of the duvet every 15 days
  • On a sunny day, lay it out between two chairs or by the window for a few hours to air it out as often as possible and at least three times a year (avoid hanging it on a clothesline)
  • Machine wash and dry it according to the care instructions provided, or have it professionally laundered.
  • Wash your duvet and pillow once or twice a year.
Washing

A duvet in a duvet cover does not need to be washed frequently. If an untimely stain means you have to wash it, it is essential to follow the washing instructions and, preferably, avoid washing it more than once a year. If done properly, this annual wash will restore the duvet's lightness and loft.

In general, always refer to the product label.

  • Pillows: machine washable in 5 kg drums.
  • Duvets: machine washable in a 15 kg drum.
  • In terms of detergent: we recommend using a liquid detergent in the correct dosage. Liquid detergent is more soluble and rinses out much better. All our natural duvets come with a dose of soap for 1 wash.
  • 5 or 6 rinses are necessary.
Drying

Machine dry, gentle and durable, synthetic or delicate programme. Minimum 4 hours. It is important that your duvet or pillow is completely dry to avoid the development of mould later on.

Important

To make your duvet and pillow plump again when drying, it is essential to put 2 to 3 dryer balls in the tumble dryer.
