Description

The Pyrenex x Paraboot down jacket is inspired by our iconic alpine down jacket created in collaboration with Pyrenean adventurer Louis Audoubert, Pyrenex's first technical adviser in the 1970s. This reissue, produced in partnership with Paraboot, retains the distinctive features of the original jacket. With its slightly lustrous fabric, generous cut, and highly enveloping natural down filling, it provides optimal protection on your outings, whether in the mountains or in the city. This down jacket combines authentic lines and vintage materials with an oversized, modern, and urban look, ideal for facing sub-zero temperatures.

Water-repellent treatment on the outer fabric that causes water droplets to bead off, preventing them from soaking into the material. A water-repellent treated textile is not designed to withstand immersion or prolonged heavy rain.

Windproof
Windproof

Use of a technical fabric ("softshell") that provides wind insulation. Ideal when it is cool or when the wind chill effect makes us cold.

Breathable
Breathable

We measure the quantity of water (in vapour form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the more breathable the fabric. From 5,000 g/m²/24h, a garment is considered breathable.
