Description

The parka Fingal in black is enveloping and very warm. Its recycled gabardine with a matte feel, paired with a waterproof membrane, effectively protects against rain and wind, while its generous French duck down filling ensures lasting warmth. An adjustable storm hood, ribbed cuffs, brushed-knit lined pockets and multiple storage options make it a piece that is as elegant as it is functional for autumn and winter. A parka designed without PFAS treatment and made from recycled fabric.

We measure, in millimetres, the water pressure required for the material to begin letting water through. A garment is considered highly water-repellent from 3,000 mm of water (Schmerber): ideal protection in light rain.

We measure the quantity of water (in vapour form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the more breathable the fabric. From 5,000 g/m²/24h, a garment is considered breathable.

Windproof
Windproof

Use of a technical fabric ("softshell") that provides wind insulation. Ideal when it is cool or when the wind chill effect makes us cold.

Composition & care
  • Washing: 30° machine wash
  • Low-temperature machine drying. Down products: tumble dry with 2 dryer balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, gently fluff the down clusters by hand to separate them.
