Description

The black Fingal parka is cosy and very warm. Its recycled gabardine fabric with a matt finish, combined with a waterproof membrane, provides effective protection from rain and wind, whilst its generous filling of French duck down ensures long-lasting warmth. An adjustable storm hood, ribbed cuffs, pockets lined with brushed knit fabric and plenty of storage make this a piece that is as stylish as it is practical for autumn and winter. A parka made from recycled fabric and free from PFAS treatments.

We measure in millimetres the pressure required for the material to begin to allow water to penetrate. A garment is considered to be highly water-repellent from 3,000 mm Schmerber. A sweet protection for small rains.

We calculate the amount of water (in the form of vapour) that the fabric lets through in 24 hours. The higher the degree, the more breathable the fabric. At 5,000g/m2/24hrs, the garment is considered to be breathable.

Windproof
Windproof

Features a technical fabric (‘softshell’) that insulates against the wind. Ideal when it's cool or windy.

  • The male model is 1m83 tall and is wearing a size L.
  • The Fingal puffer jacket has a straight cut.
Composition & care
  • 30° machine wash
  • Tumble dry at low temperature.Down products: tumble dry with 2 drying balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, tap the balls of down by hand to separate them.
