Description
Inspired by the iconic John gilet from the adult collection, this sleeveless Pyrenex gilet takes all the codes that made it a success and reimagines them in a version specially designed for children and teenagers. Its modern cut, clean lines and timeless vintage style make it an easy-to-wear piece that transitions effortlessly through the seasons without losing any of its elegance.
Fitted with a fixed, adjustable hood with elasticated drawcord, this model offers additional protection when temperatures drop. Its technical water-repellent, windproof and breathable fabric effectively shields against light rain whilst promoting moisture evacuation to ensure optimal comfort throughout the day.
Practical for everyday use, this gilet features a full-length zip fastening and zipped pockets lined with a soft material to keep hands nice and warm. Lightweight, comfortable and hardwearing, it easily accompanies the youngest adventurers on all their outings. Water-repellent treatment on the outer fabric that causes water droplets to bead off, preventing them from soaking into the material. A water-repellent treated textile is not designed to withstand immersion or prolonged heavy rain.
We measure the quantity of water (in vapour form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the more breathable the fabric. From 5,000 g/m²/24h, a garment is considered breathable.
Use of a technical fabric ("softshell") that provides wind insulation. Ideal when it is cool or when the wind chill effect makes us cold.
Composition & care
Washing: 30° machine wash
Low-temperature machine drying. Down products: tumble dry with 2 dryer balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, gently fluff the down clusters by hand to separate them.
Ironing at a maximum temperature of 110°C
Do not bleach
Do not dry clean
