Description

The John gilet is a unisex sleeveless down jacket that has become a staple of the Pyrenex wardrobe. Versatile, it can be worn in mid-season as well as in winter under a coat for extra insulation.

Its generous natural French down fill ensures comfortable warmth while maintaining excellent lightness. Its shiny, water-repellent and durable French taffeta fabric adds an iconic vintage touch that defines the model's entire identity.

Available in a wide range of colours, from understated shades to the boldest hues, the unisex sleeveless gilet John suits every style. Its Regular fit flatters all body shapes, while sizing up allows for a resolutely streetwear oversized silhouette.

Water-repellent treatment on the outer fabric that causes water droplets to bead off, preventing them from soaking into the material. A water-repellent treated textile is not designed to withstand immersion or prolonged heavy rain.

Breathable

We measure the quantity of water (in vapour form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the more breathable the fabric. From 5,000 g/m²/24h, a garment is considered breathable.

Windproof
Windproof

Use of a technical fabric ("softshell") that provides wind insulation. Ideal when it is cool or when the wind chill effect makes us cold.

Composition & care
  • Washing: 30° machine wash
  • Low-temperature machine drying. Down products: tumble dry with 2 dryer balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, gently fluff the down clusters by hand to separate them.
  • Ironing at a maximum temperature of 110°C
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not dry clean
