Hand towels

The 50 × 100 cm hand towel is an everyday size: large enough to dry yourself after a shower, yet easy to handle and quick to dry. Pyrenex weaves it at 600 g/m² in zero-twist yarn, in the plain Hana and striped Yumi ranges, across the full in-house colour palette. The most useful size for the bathroom At 50 × 100 cm, a hand towel is enough to dry yourself completely after a shower without the bulk of a bath towel. It is the item used most often and owned in several copies, one for each person in the household. It differs from two neighbouring sizes. It is larger than the 30 × 50 cm face towel, which is only used for the face and short hair. It is smaller than the 90 × 180 cm bath towel, which you can wrap around yourself. For everyday use, the hand towel is the right compromise: it dries faster than a bath towel while still drying the whole body. A weight that lasts The Pyrenex hand towel shares the 600 g/m² zero-twist terry cloth used for the other items in the collection. In this intermediate size, the density is a real advantage: the towel absorbs well and, as its surface area is smaller than that of a bath sheet, it dries in a reasonable time even without a heated towel rail. This is the preferred size for long hair: two hand towels, one for the body and one for the hair, work better than a single large bath sheet and dry faster between uses. The colours coordinate with bath towels, washcloths and face towels to create a complete set. Care Wash before first use. Wash at 40 to 60 °C without fabric softener, then tumble dry moderately. As hand towels withstand frequent washing, avoiding fabric softener is even more important here: over time, it reduces absorbency.
