Bath mats

The bath mat welcomes your feet as you step out of the shower or bath. Made from thick cotton, it absorbs water and air dries. Pyrenex offers it in 50 × 80 cm, in five colours coordinated with the rest of the collection: white, ecru, terracotta, peacock blue and dark blue. A cotton bath mat, not microfibre The Pyrenex bath mat is made of cotton, like the rest of the bath linen. This choice has practical implications compared with microfibre or memory foam mats. Cotton absorbs water and releases it as it air dries. It can be machine washed with the rest of the collection, in the same colours as the bath towels, making it possible to create a coordinated set. On the other hand, a thick cotton mat takes longer to dry than a thin mat, and in a bathroom without ventilation, it is best to hang it between uses rather than leave it flat on the floor. Sizes and colours 50 × 80 cm. Five colours: white, ecru, terracotta, peacock blue and dark blue, coordinated with the towels and bathrobes in the Hana and Yumi ranges. Care Machine wash at 40 °C. Air dry or tumble dry at a moderate temperature. As with towels, avoid fabric softener, which reduces cotton's absorbency. Hang the mat after use so that it dries completely and to prevent damp odours.
