Description

Inspired by the best-selling Sten, this Pyrenex quilted down jacket reimagines an iconic model in a version featuring a matte, modern and timeless fabric. Its slightly relaxed unisex cut comfortably wraps children and teenagers while offering excellent freedom of movement for everyday wear.

At the heart of this jacket lies a filling of natural French down, renowned for its insulating properties. Lightweight and high-performing, it effectively retains body heat, while the enveloping hood and elasticated cuffs enhance protection against cold and wind.

Designed to keep up with the youngest, this children's down jacket is made from a highly water-repellent, windproof and breathable outer fabric. It effectively protects against the elements while limiting moisture build-up during activities. Available from age 8 to 16, this version of the Sten combines Pyrenex craftsmanship, lasting comfort and a understated aesthetic that will stand the test of time without going out of style.

We measure, in millimetres, the water pressure required for the material to begin letting water through. A garment is considered highly water-repellent from 3,000 mm of water (Schmerber): ideal protection in light rain.

Breathable
Breathable

We measure the quantity of water (in vapour form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the more breathable the fabric. From 5,000 g/m²/24h, a garment is considered breathable.

  • The boy model is 4'9" and the girl model is 5'1". Both wear size 12Y
  • The Sten down jacket has a straight, slightly loose cut.
Composition & care
  • Washing: 30° machine wash
  • Low-temperature machine drying. Down products: tumble dry with 2 dryer balls, minimum 4 hours at low temperature. Once dry, gently fluff the down clusters by hand to separate them.
  • Ironing at a maximum temperature of 110°C
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not dry clean
